I had anxiety attacks related to PTSD triggers usually involving sense of personal safety. I found that getting out in nature really helps. My anxiety attacks mostly happened around other people. So, I found isolating myself in solitude to be incredibly healing. Meditation and gaining physical distance from people has a strong anti-anxiety effect for me.
Just know that you're not alone in this struggle. There are many people out there that suffer with anxiety and depression. I don't want to say it's good, rather it's almost "normal". So don't let it hit you as if something was wrong with you. What I do however, is to basically meditate and read God's word. My secret and most effective weapon is prayer. There I express to God every inch of my emotions to him and he listens and takes away the burden. Hope this has helped you.
Increased Vitamin B3 (Niacin) works well too. But if I take the vitamin without a meal I get flushing of my skin.
